Chrystabel Story

Chrystabel Story

Chrystabel is a 34-year-old single Mother of 3, paralyzed on both legs, by a Quinimax injection, in her childhood. This brave Lady raises her three children, with the meager earnings she makes as a hairdresser, in Mondoni, a small village in the Southwest Region of Cameroun. Chrystabel had to move out of their family house when her Mother died in 2000.

She had to relocate after her father remarried, and her New stepmother considered her and her children a burden. She now lives in a shallow rented facility with her three children to feed, clothe, and send to school. All of these,  thanks to her paltry resources as a hairdresser. As schools resume this September, Chrystabel will face another uphill challenge; by sending her three children, she can barely give feedback to the school.
